Agreement

By creating an account or using any part of the Project Lead platform ('Service'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ('Terms'). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Business Use

The Service is intended for business and professional use. You represent that you are using the Service on behalf of yourself as a professional or on behalf of a business entity, not as a private consumer.

Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Account Creation

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

One Account Per Person

Each person may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, free trial restrictions, or suspensions is a material breach of these Terms and will result in immediate termination of all accounts.

Account Security

You must notify us immediately at support@mgdev.io if you believe your account has been compromised. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised use of your account that result from your failure to maintain password security.

API Keys

You are solely responsible for your Google Maps API key, including all usage costs and compliance with Google's Terms of Service. Do not share your API key with others or embed it in publicly accessible code.

Permitted Use

You may use the Service for lawful business development and sales outreach, including identifying potential clients, researching businesses, and building prospect lists for your own outreach campaigns.

Prohibited Activities

You must not: (a) scrape or harvest data at a scale or rate that violates Google's Terms of Service; (b) use scraped data to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam); (c) resell, sublicense, or redistribute raw data obtained through the Service; (d) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the platform's source code; (e) use the Service to collect data on minors or for discriminatory purposes.

Compliance with Law

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of scraped data complies with all applicable laws, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, anti-spam laws in your jurisdiction, and any rules governing cold outreach in your industry.

Data Accuracy

Business data returned from Google Maps is provided 'as-is'. We make no guarantee that contact information is current, accurate, or belongs to the correct individual. You are responsible for verifying data before using it in outreach.

No Automated Abuse

Automated bots, scripts, or tools that access the Service outside of our official API or UI are prohibited. Rate limits are enforced per account and may not be circumvented.

Plans

The Service is offered on Starter (free), Pro, and Agency subscription tiers. Feature availability and usage limits vary by plan and are described on the Pricing page. We reserve the right to change plan features or pricing with 30 days' notice.

Free Trial

New users receive a trial period with limited search capacity. At the end of the trial, access to paid features requires a paid subscription. Trial limits are non-transferable and cannot be reset by creating a new account.

Billing Cycle

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Annual plans are non-refundable after the first 7 days. Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first payment for any paid plan. Subsequent payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer protection law. Partial-month refunds are not available.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will retry up to three times over 7 days. If payment cannot be collected, your account will be downgraded to the free tier and any data exceeding free-tier limits may become inaccessible until a valid payment method is provided.

Our IP

The Service, including its design, source code, algorithms, branding, and documentation, is owned by Project Lead and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.

Licence to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.

Your Data

You retain all rights to lead data you generate and export through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process and store that data solely to provide the Service to you.

Feedback

If you submit suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that feedback in any way, without obligation to you.

Service Provided 'As Is'

The Service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your specific requirements. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Data Accuracy

Business information sourced from Google Maps is provided without warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or currency. Project Lead is not responsible for decisions made on the basis of data obtained through the Service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Project Lead's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party services including Google Maps API. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of those services. Downtime or changes to Google's API may affect Service functionality beyond our control.

By You

You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time from the Settings panel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Account deletion is immediate and permanent.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account with immediate effect if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a way that creates legal risk for us or other users. We will attempt to notify you unless doing so would be harmful.

Effect of Termination

On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data within 30 days of account closure, except where retention is required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, governing law) shall do so.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. For users in the European Union or United Kingdom, applicable mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply.

Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at legal@mgdev.io and give us 30 days to resolve the dispute informally. Most issues can be resolved this way.

Jurisdiction

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
